About H*VMI

Our Mission --What Motivates Us:

Handi*Vangelism Ministries International is a faith-based mission that exists
to share the love of the Lord Jesus Christ
and to equip the Church to share His love
with people around the world who have disabilities, medical or mental health challenges or broken hearts, so that they may become growing and serving members of the body of Christ.

Our History -- From Then to Now:

H*VMI began in 1973 with a staff of two and now has more than thirty full-time individuals and scores of volunteers.

H*VMI began as a stateside ministry and now assists people in many countries around the world.

H*VMI started under the umbrella of another mission agency and now exists as an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit, faith-based organization.

Our Vision -- From Now Until Jesus Comes Again:

By faith, it is our vision to grow, increase, develop, and expand the ministry of HVMI under the leadership and direction of the Holy Spirit to fulfill our Mission until Jesus comes again. -- Read more.
ministries to people with physical and mental disabilities, grieving, mental health issues, elderly, shut-in, abused, battered, broken hearted

Our Beliefs --the Basics:

  1. We believe in the verbally inspired Word of God without error in the original manuscripts.
  2. We believe God is known to man as three persons --Father, Son and Holy Spirit -- co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.
  3. We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God.
  4. We believe that it is impossible for man to save himself; that in order to be saved he must realize his need of the Savior, repent and receive Christ as his Savior, and in so doing, be born again. Salvation is by grace, the free gift of God.
