Brian Robinson, Director of Handi*Camp

Meet the Director of Handi*Camp

Brian Robinson

Handi*Camp has been a family affair for the Robinsons for about 20 years! Our kids are camp kids and have been blessed growing up at camp. In 2004, the Lord led us to adopt two precious sisters with various special needs after caring for them as foster children. We’re thankful for the opportunity to be part of this ministry as a family!

Staff members are an important part of the Handi*Camp program – we couldn’t do it without them! Great friendships are made and lives are changed. We thank God for all the people who’ve been a part of our team over the years!

Meet the rest of the Handi*Camp Team

Handi*Camp is staffed by loving, caring, godly men and women. The camp program is planned and supervised by full-time staff members of Handi*Vangelism Ministries International who have a variety of educational backgrounds and many years of experience working with people who have disabilities. They include the following:

Mark & Jodie Amey

Tammy Arrowsmith

Tara Kelley

Paul Lehto

Laura Lewis
Dee Lindsey

Cathi Myers

Patti Nell

Sandy Robinson

Tim & Kathy Sheetz

Plus, numerous others join us for our summer programs. Summer staff members are hired only after undergoing a careful application and screening process. Adults (age 19 and over) serve as counselors and activity leaders. Service and support positions are filled by adults and teens (age 15 and over). Click Here to learn how you can be a part of our summer camp and Bible conference programs.

The entire staff attends a thorough pre-camp orientation program. To further provide quality care for our campers and adult guests, the overall camper-to-staff ratio is approximately one-to-one.

A team of nurses plans for the health and safety of our campers using the information provided on the camper application forms. Nurses are present at camp 24 hours a day --and a doctor is on call.
