One of my campers, who was mentally handicapped, would never say anything during devotions. I wondered if she understood what I was saying. On the last night, though, I heard the most precious prayer, “I love you, Jesus. Amen.” Her words were simple, few and very hard for her to pronounce, but they were deep and brought tears to my eyes and I’m sure a smile to His face. Handi*Camp is truly a place where lives are changed for His glory! (Tara Kelley, ’92 Counselor, ’93-’95 Handcraft Coordinator, now full-time staff!)
 
One of the benefits I’ve seen since becoming part of Handi*Camp is the way we work to help each other with campers. (Sam Johnson, ’91-2010 Counselor, now full-time staff!)
 
Handi*Camp started out for me with ideas that I was doing something for the Lord, but ended with God showering me with blessings and increasing my faith. (Christine Grem, ’92-’93 Assistant Nurse)
