The death of a child is like no other loss. Everyone is profoundly hurt to learn that a child has died --but the loss to the child's parents is overwhelming, whether the child is not yet born, stillborn, a baby, a toddler, a teen or an adult!
 
 
BASIS people are willing to help "bear the burden" of grieving parents through their encouraging and informative bereavement ministry.

BASIS is also a support system for grieving children and teens.

C2H2

C2H2 stands for Compassion, Comfort, Healing & Hope. C2H2 offers a safe place for children and teens grieving the loss of a parent, grandparent, sibling, relative or friend. We offer individual family support for children 3-17 years of age as well as peer to peer grief support groups. The program is designed to utilize the creative arts such as: music, art, games and sharing with others as avenues of grief expression.

The grieving process of a child or teen is often disguised so it can easily be overlooked; but, through the BASIS ministry, they find help and understanding in their unique grief. We are here to offer support.
