Grief follows any type of loss and it evokes powerful emotions.

Support for the hurting person is so crucial; but, people very often shrink back from the griever.

"I don't know what to say!" is usually followed up by saying and doing nothing.
 
This only intensifies the griever's pain.
 

H*VMI offers grief seminars like "Help for People in Pain"
which look at:

the grieving process
 
how to help someone who is grieving
 
how to incorporate God's love and sovereignty into the painful losses of life
