Missionary:      NATHANAEL MANTHEY

With H*VMI Since: 2008

What I do at H*VMI:

• Recruit missionaries and volunteers
• Create awareness of the various ministries
• Assist other missionaries in any way I can

About Me:

Family: I am married to the lovely Michelle Manthey. I am the second oldest of 9 children, with a father and mother who top the list of my spiritual heroes.
 
Hobbies: I love to read and write. I enjoy the hiking and camping in the outdoors.
 
Background: After a few rebellious years in my late teens, I attended Teen Challenge where I surrendered my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Since then, I've had the privilege of ministering to teens and young adults in various settings. And through Michelle's involvement with H*VMI, I fell in love with this ministry and its missionaries. I am privileged to be ministering alongside such amazing people. I've taken some Bible classes through Moody Bible School's correspondence program and will be taking additional classes at Lancaster Bible College.
 
My Life Verse: "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation." (Isaiah 12.2 ESV)
