Missionaries:      PAUL & BEV LEHTO

With H*VMI Since: 2003

What We do at H*VMI:

• Paul is the Director of Development. He works to raise funding for the individual ministries of H*VMI, as well as special projects, Handi*Camp, and special events. He also works with Discipleship Ministry visiting residents of Institutions and teaching Bible Studies.
• Bev assists Paul when he makes presentations in churches. She also does Bible correspondence lessons with Discipleship Ministry.

About Us:

Family: We have been married for over 40 years and are the parents of three grown children, a son and two daughters. Our family continues to grow as we have been blessed with five grandchildren, including a set of triplets. We met during a Methodist youth hymn sing. Our home church is Brooklawn United Methodist, where we are actively involved in the life of the church. Bev's Mom and Dad, who have been blessed with good health and over 62 years of marriage, are supporters of our work with H*VMI, as well as is our church family.
 
Hobbies: We enjoy spending time together with family and friends from our church, as well as traveling when possible. Vacationing at the Jersey shore with our children and grandchildren is something we enjoy and look forward to each summer. Bev relaxes by reading and Paul spends his free time working around the house and yard.
 
Background: Before joining H*VMI in January 2003 Paul was employed for 31 years in sales with a large printing manufacturer. After spending a couple of years volunteering at Handi*Camp and through prayer, he was led by God to make the decision to work for Him and the special people H*VMI serves.
 
Life Verse: "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." (1 Pet. 4:10)
 

Please Pray for Paul's work as Director of Development:

• Pray that God's people will support the missionaries of H*VMI who are faithfully doing the Lord's work.
• Pray for God's wisdom in developing fund raising ideas for H*VMI.
• Please ask for God to lead people to join him in working within the Development Department and other areas of the ministry, as we grow in His service.
