Tom Brown

What I do at H*VMI:

  • I am a Handi*Camp counselor.
  • I am involved in Discipleship Ministry (assisting in several Bible clubs, writing letters and visitation).
  • I am involved in Twilight Senior Ministry (teaching Sunday services, leading Bible studies and visitation).

About Me:

Family: I am the third of four sons. We are all Christians after our mother experienced revival and rededication and fervently prayed for the salvation of her sons. Eventually she prayed, as did I, for our bitter divorced father who then rededicated his life to Jesus. He expressed renewed love for his family before he went to Heaven.
 
Hobbies: I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching an occasional movie with family, and reading when I can find free time. I love singing with my guitar to the Lord. I enjoy formal Bible study. I also enjoy missions prayer meetings.
 
Background: I graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. I am currently studying the Scofield Bible Curriculum through the Distance Learning Program at Moody Bible Institute.
 
My Life Verse: "For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." (Isa. 41:13)
