Bill and Deb Carson

Missionaries serving with H*VMI since 1987.

MINISTRY: Disability Ministries/Twilight Senior.

BACKGROUND: Bill and Deb were married in 1967. Both are ordained ministers and former schoolteachers. They served in two churches among seniors, then joined Nursing Home Ministries. Ten years later they began serving with H*VMI. They most recently ministered at Glencroft Community Church for 15 Christmases.

FAMILY: They have three heaven-sent children and eight delightful grandchildren and one great-grandchild. All of our children live in the Phoenix area. Daughter Melody and son-in-law Scott live with their youngest child, Ryan. Their other children Chris, Cammie and Katie are nearby. Leroy, our favorite son, has four children: Synthia, Destiny, Hunter and Austin (grandpa calls him "Tex"). Daughter Joy (AKA Billi Joy Beej) lives with Bill and Deb and is a published editor.

HOBBIES: Bill likes to putter around and work in his train room, where he has an HO train set. Deb likes to read, write, crochet and spend time with grandkids.
