MINISTRY: Disability Ministries/Handi*Camp.

BACKGROUND: I was aware of H*VMI from a young age because of an H*VMI missionary who would visit my church. That exposure to disability ministry as a child eventually led me to pursue studying occupational therapy in college. In 2018, right before finishing my degree, I served at Handi*Camp for the first time. The more summers I enjoyed serving at Handi*Camp, the more I couldn’t picture a summer without it. During my studies at a two-year Bible college a few years later, my love for disability ministry and my motivation to get more involved grew in a deeper way. Shortly after graduating from Bible school, God led me to join H*VMI.

HOBBIES: I enjoy spending time with family, tending to my plants, and taking photos (especially during hikes). 

LIFE VERSE: “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”  2 Corinthians 12:9
